Pastor's Greeting

How excited I am that you are taking part in changing the world. I still think of many of my grade school, junior high and high school teachers very fondly. They added much to my maturity and the building of my character with their example. How I needed godly role models for some very informative years. The harvest is plentiful and is over-ripening (John 4:35). The labors of quality and dedicated men and women are in short supply, and my prayer is that a multitude of teachers, principles and administrators would labor in the fields of children’s hearts around the world.

I am pleased you have answered the call on your life, “that you may press forward and lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has laid hold of you” (Phil. 3:12). You are entering an incredible season of your life. You are stepping into the challenge to learn biblical principles to build-up and educate the next generation. I am so glad God has opened this opportunity for us to be a partner with you in the preparation of your calling. May God give you focus, determination and much grace, that you maybe able to take full opportunity in this season of your life.

In all sincerity and love of the Spirit,

Bryan Newberry
Senior Pastor, Calvary Chapel San Diego
