Chancellor

Dr. Marsh has earned degrees from the University of Southern California (BA), Pepperdine University (MA), and Pensacola Christian College (Ed.D.). His background includes serving as the Principal at Horizon High School in San Diego, the Headmaster at Salisbury Christian Schools in Maryland and as Pastor/Teacher at The Rock Church. He currently serves as the Headmaster and Associate Pastor of Calvary Christian Academy.

Brian Nixon

Instructor

Brian Nixon is currently the Headmaster at Horizon Prep. He is a Cum Laude graduate of Stanislaus University (BA), Trinity Seminary (M.A), and St. Alcuin’s Episcopal Seminary (D. Phil.). His credential (ACSI) and continuing education work was accomplished at various institutions: Azusa University, Hope University, Chapman University, and Biola University.

 
Wendy Berryhill


Wendy Berryhill

Chief Academic Officer

Wendy has been involved in Christian education for eight years. She taught American Literature and World Literature at Horizon High School and served as the Dean of Woman at Calvary Chapel High School in Costa Mesa. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Literature from Point Loma Nazarene University and a Master’s degree in Education. She is a Blackboard Certified Instructor and serves as the systems administrator for Calvary Chapel Teachers College.

 
Mel Johnson


Mel Johnson

Educational Program Coordinator

Mel joins the staff of Calvary Chapel Teachers College after working over twenty-five years in the field of higher education. The last seventeen years was with a local university at which he served as the Director of Student Services. Mel has received his BS degree in Liberal Studies from Regents College. He also served twelve years in the Unites States Navy. Mel is married to Mary Ladiana-Johnson and shares their lives with two children, one son and one daughter. He treasures Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Human Resources

Judy holds a Bachelors degree in Liberal Studies and a Professional Certificate in Human Resources Management. She has worked for the private, public and government sector and has over 12 years of experience in Human Resources.

Registrar

Toni has been on staff with CCA since 1996. Toni also serves at Calvary Chapel Teachers College as the Registrar.

Pamela has worked in Christian schools since 1991. She is currently serving as the Academic Counselor for CCA and Calvary Chapel Teachers College.
