Welcome to Calvary Chapel Teachers College!
Calvary Chapel
Teachers College is a cutting edge spiritual, personal and educational experience. CCTC is a
“once in a lifetime” opportunity to grow and develop in a uniquely Christian environment in order
to effectively start, revamp and run distinctively Christian schools worldwide for God’s glory.
The purpose of CCTC is in keeping with the vision of Calvary Chapel Church. “Go therefore and make
disciples” Matt. 28:19
“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists
and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, of the
edifying of the body of Christ.” Ephesians 4:11-12
CCTC has been designed for you. We have
designed the program of study with four things in mind:
- First, the Certificate of Christian Education program is designed for those people desiring a
slow, steady approach to learning. This certificate program is especially helpful for those coming
into Christian education from public schools. The basics would help those in Christian education
wanting to grow professionally.
- Second, the Bachelors in Christian Education is designed for those interested in laying a more
serious foundation of study. This program very naturally leads into the next program area.
- Third, the Masters in Christian Education is tailor made for those who have a sincere desire to
reach for the fullness of all God has for them “right now”!
- Fourth, The Doctoral level program has been established to train leaders of leaders.
CCTC has developed some of the most “innovative” educational approaches for its programs of study. Here
are a few examples we believe will excite you:
- Flexible class times for those working full-time. Classes will be offered in eight week modules. All classes will be offered online and will feature daily or weekly online discussions with professors as well as classmates.
- Summer symposiums offered as a one week intensive study time.
- An internship program for those interested in pursuing God’s “Call” on their lives into the Christian education ministry.
- A practicum program that trains you to pray, obey, plan and successfully complete a 30-day trip abroad in service to the Lord in the area of Christian education missions.
- Interaction with a GREAT group of people who are just like you!
